This beautiful lamp design was the work of a Netherlands-based designer Tian Zhen. With its materials derived from combination of wood and paper, this gentle lamp reminds us a traditional lighting such as lampion.
Tian Zhen explains:
The lamps are simply made from sheets of Tyvek paper sewn together and folded, with no extra hidden support. The lamps have a delicate leather base and slim wooden stands, all designed to ‘bring the Swan to life.’ The hanging Swan lamp has an ultra lightweight electric cable, allowing it to swing gently when people walk around, as if it’s actually alive.
